Hey! Ever raced a canoe before?
Ever poured concrete?
Ever RACED A CONCRETE CANOE??!!

In 2003 the Cornell student chapter of the American Society of Engineers (ASCE) participated in the National Concrete Canoe Competition. We designed, constructed, and raced the world's finest floating hunk of concrete. Though the canoe was a wee bit unstable, we had lots of fun and took third place in the regional competition. Check out the pictures!

Many thanks to Tim Bond, Lee Virtue and the CEE staff. Without the generous donations of time and energy of these people this project would not have been a success. Special thanks to Rhino Composites, Barker Steel and TechFab for their donations!
