  • Wrote software for instrument control and data acquisition for a gas chromatograph, diode array spectrophotometer, pH/ion/conductivity meter, and to control a 3 axis positioning system. Designed software with a consistent user interface to enable students to use instruments for the first time with minimal instruction.
  • Developed real-time enhanced mixture separation software analysis of aqueous samples by diode array spectrophotometers.
  • Authored software to sample a gas stream and record concentration as a function of time using a sampling valve and a gas chromatograph.
  • Created software to control a 2-axis positioning system and to obtain and analyze data from an acoustic Doppler velocimeter and conductivity microprobe. Computer driven positioning of the sampling probes and data acquisition permit automated monitoring of experiments.
  • Authored software to acquire, store, and analyze particle count and size information from a Coulter Counter.
