Students planning to enter the Environmental Engineering
Curriculum Option are required to take ENGRD 202, Mechanics of Solids (F, S, 3) or CHEM 208 either before or during
their sophomore year. A
second Engineering Distribution course must be taken but may be chosen based
interest and in consultation with your faculty advisor.
ENGRD 201, 219, 221, 250, BIO G 101 and 103, BIO G 105, BIO G 107, and
CHEM 359 are all recommended for students in the environmental option.
Note that ENGRD 202 is a prerequisite or co-requisite for CEE 331 and a
prerequisite for CEE 341, so it is best to take the ENGRD 202 no later than Fall
semester junior year.
